It's me, Katie Briar. Before we say yes to going on this adventure together, inevitably becoming bffs in the process, here's a little bit more about me.

I am not the person with the camera telling you what to do or how to pose. What I photograph will be real, heartfelt, and authentic. You will share your story with me, and I will help you make it tangible. Capturing who you are, what makes you and your partner unique, that is where the magic happens, that is what I set out to achieve through photography. A photograph can be so much more than just a pretty picture, it should be a story captured in 1/1000 of a second and a token of you in that moment in your life. In order to do that, we will form our own relationship and bond, getting to know one another, getting to know your relationship and how you express your love, so that I can help you tell your story in a way that is true and meaningful. I will help you feel comfortable and set your mind at ease both with me and in front of the camera, which in turn, will let you melt into the experience of your wedding day. You live in it. I will make sure you can relive it for years to come.

Now, here are some random facts about me. Photography has been the love of my life for the last ten years. I am a dog mom to a giant 200 pound English Mastiff. Special Education was my major in college and I taught four sweet classes of babies before making photography my full time gig. I can quote every line from, "Friends," "Harry Potter," and "You've Got Mail." I have a healthy obsession with the color orange, Diet Coke, popcorn, tattoos, and Amazon Prime. My military husband, Tanner, is my complete opposite but my very best friend in the world. We met the day before college graduation but learned we had not only gone to the same college for four years, but also grew up in the same hometown, living only 5 minutes from each other... school district lines were all that kept us apart. More often than not, he tags along with me as my second shooter. Oh, and I'm allergic to avocados. xoxo
